kate diago & all and sundry

I found this painting by Kate Diago on her blog, All and Sundry, and I just love it – especially for the combination of lots of white with little touches of bright colors like that fantastic turquoise and red combo in the painting above.

Kate lives in Brooklyn and is trying to get back into painting, which resonates with me and my recent attempts to throw myself back into anything creative that does not relate to a computer.

And here’s some exciting news – soon you’ll be able to see Kate on Little Paper Planes! I’ll have to keep my eyes out for it.

lisa perry’s windows

I recently saw Lisa Perry’s house in Living Etc. and although there were lots of things I loved about it, I was especially intrigued by the all white walls with the black trim on the inside of the windows. Maybe I could do this at my house, too!

bright tights

Yesterday I was looking through one of my favorite sites, Colour Lovers, for a more muted color palette for a client, and saw a link to this site, where you can find tights in any color you ever wanted. For just $8.

aqua + orange + simon johnston

I’m digging this piece by Simon Johnston, especially the color palette.

something spring-like

Delish reminded me that I was overdue for a visit to Pentagram’s website, where I found this piece which just looked so much like spring I had to post it. Here’s to 80 degree weather (come back)!
