landscapes

I found the photo on the left on decor8 yesterday, and was immediately reminded of the fabric on the right, carried by reprodepot. It’s 99″(over 8 ft) tall so you’d get the same feel as the photo on the left. (Marimekko fabric $115 per 99″repeat.)

While I was checking out reprodepot I found these fabrics too:

From left to right, Kaakaopuu Light Green ($28.90/yd), Dadel Pink (another large pattern, $126 per repeat), and Metsanvaki ($42.60). See these and more here.

lisa perry’s windows

I recently saw Lisa Perry’s house in Living Etc. and although there were lots of things I loved about it, I was especially intrigued by the all white walls with the black trim on the inside of the windows. Maybe I could do this at my house, too!

interstudio

interstudio

I went on interstudio’s website to find a modular chair I saw in Inside Out magazine. I couldn’t find the chair I was looking for, but found all kinds of other interesting things – like this storage solution on the left and ball pendant on the right.

natalie wright and then….scratch & sniff wallpaper?!

nataliewright

Oh Flickr, how I love you. I found a gem in Natalie Wright yesterday, who is an MFA student at RISD. She makes fantastic wallpaper (above) and was recently featured in BUST magazine. Be sure to check out her blog for updates, as well as her flickr page for just a good time, and soon you can find her work on Flavor Paper, too.

flavorpaper

Speaking of Flavor Paper, this is where the scratch and sniff comes in. How fun! Yep, scratch and sniff wallpaper (above). So exciting and weird.

honeycomb lanterns

anthropologielanterns

I LOVE these new lanterns from anthropologie. I only wish they were a little bigger (the white rectangular one is only 3″ wide). But, for $15-20 each, you could get a few!

edholm ullenius

ikea

Edholm Ullenius does some nice things with pattern, which you’ve probably seen at ikea, like these little table lamps above.  This would make a great DIY weekend project by the way…hmm…

de de ce +

dedeceplus

On the website this de de ce + vase is described as being “four vases in one.” So, I’m not sure what’s going on here, but I like it anyway.

I LOVED the most recent issue of Inside Out magazine, and I am hooked. Unfortunately, it cost would cost me an arm and a leg to subscribe since they are an Australian publication, but rest assured I will always be hitting up Barnes and Noble to check out their new issues. Above, pillowcases, teatowels, aprons, and more from Third Drawer Down in Australia (via Inside Out of course).

bernabei freeman

There is a ton of eye candy on Bernabei Freeman’s website. And I mean a ton. Clockwise, award winning Totem lights, lace pendant, leaf pendants, and crisscross lights.

I saw this on apartmenttherapy and couldn’t resist posting about it. You can buy Popmats from delight.com ($24.75 for 10). While I was there I also stumbled on these beautiful earrings made from recycled glass ($42):

environmental design + emerystudio

emery1

I’m not even sure how to define environmental design. I was thrilled when I opened the latest issue of Communication Arts and saw a big article (with lots of gorgeous pictures, of course) of some fantastic environmental design. I’m not talking about environmentally friendly design. I’m talking about the combination of graphic design, interior design, architecture, installation art, and landscape design into THE coolest field out there. Up top, work from emerystudio in Melbourne. Up above is the Seven Yarra marketing suite.

Above, the Australian Racing Museum. Isn’t that 88 great?
